Kansas’ Bold Attempt to Protect Children from Mutilation Comes Up Short

5

The recent proposal in Kansas to ban child sexual mutilation has stirred up quite a controversy, with passionate arguments from both sides. While many applaud the attempt to protect innocent children, others argue that it infringes on personal freedoms. As a conservative, I firmly believe that this ban is a necessary step in safeguarding our youth and preserving traditional values. Let's take a closer look at the issue from a conservative point of view.

First and foremost, the idea of child sexual mutilation is abhorrent and should have no place in our society. It is a barbaric practice that not only causes physical harm but also has lasting emotional and psychological effects on the victims. As conservatives, we value the sanctity of human life and believe in protecting the most vulnerable among us. This ban would have been a powerful statement in upholding these values.

Furthermore, proponents of the ban argue that it is necessary to combat the growing trend of gender reassignment surgeries on minors. This disturbing trend has been on the rise in recent years, with more and more young children being encouraged to undergo irreversible procedures that can have serious consequences on their health and well-being. By banning child sexual mutilation, Kansas would have taken a proactive stance in protecting children from these potentially harmful procedures.

However, opponents of the ban argue that it infringes on personal freedoms and that parents should have the right to make medical decisions for their children. While this argument may hold some merit, it is important to consider the long-term consequences of such decisions.

As conservatives, we value personal responsibility and believe in the importance of protecting our children from harmful influences. Banning child sexual mutilation aligns with these beliefs and would have been a step in the right direction.

Moreover, the failure of this ban highlights the growing divide in our society between traditional values and progressive ideologies. As conservatives, we believe in preserving the foundations of our society and protecting our children from harmful influences. However, it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so in a society that is becoming more and more tolerant of radical ideas and practices. This ban was a chance for Kansas to take a stand against this trend, but unfortunately, it fell short.

In addition, the failure of this ban highlights the need for strong and unwavering conservative leadership. In a time when traditional values are under attack, it is crucial that we have leaders who are willing to stand up for what is right, even when it is unpopular. This ban may have failed, but it is important to continue fighting for our values and protecting our children from harmful practices.

In conclusion, the proposal to ban child sexual mutilation in Kansas was a courageous and necessary step in protecting our children and preserving traditional values. As conservatives, we must continue to advocate for the well-being of our youth and push back against harmful ideologies. While this attempt may have failed, it serves as a reminder that we must never stop fighting for what is right. Our children's futures depend on it.

  1. What the heck are these people doing in office? They are not standing up for my values. Child gender change. What is all the nonsense about cutting genitals off? God created people to be special in the body he gave you. Also, the abortion debate. Emergency is one thing. Put them up for adoption if you feel you cannot care for them. Planned Parenthood should be put out of business. It’s a cover for abortion. Again, mutilating a baby. If anyone research’s this, a former nurse at an abortion clinic witnessed a baby’s head being crushed. Arms and legs yanked off. She quit. The new pill has been shown, in some instances, to cause major bleeding. Yet, is that talked about. Available like candy. Take care of a life. There are enough murders, abuses, and crimes going on. The devil is rampant. Repent. Pray in Jesus Name. Life is short. Help at least one person a day. I do. Stop the nonsense.

  2. That Kelly is an evil witch who should never have a voice in government. She is a child molester and a miserable excuse for a human being. She should be in a psych unit!

  3. This world and the culture is increasingly more ungodly day by day! Yes I said “ungodly “. Although society does not recognize God of the Bible He is the only one who will one day purge the world of the wicked and all those who are complicit with immoral behavior. He judged the population of Sodom and Gomorrah and destroyed that vile city . In Noah’s day God was patient for 120 years while Noah built the Ark and preached repentance to that generation. They would not listen and then suddenly after many warnings the flood came and it was too late for every human who rejected God’s call for repentance! Niniveh repented when Jonah preached repentance to that massive city and God relented from destroying that city’s inhabitants. Man will continue to defy God and Judgement will be executed in God’s timing. So what must genuine Christians do. Be salt and light in the earth, pray, live as righteous examples, and witness to the lost. The pulpits need bold pastors to preach the “whole counsel of God” to help strengthen the body of Christ. The body of Christ needs to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit to enable them to be the Church described in the Bible. Simply solutions to a “sun” issue!

  4. A better argument instead of theological, though I agree with the above, would be scientific and logical. (Despite the follow the science lies per covid and climate change)
Great Britton has just had a scientific review on “gender affirming health care”. It turns out what the radical proponents of gender affirming heath care quote as science are only their radical OPPINIONS with little or no real scientific studies/evidence.
Dr Kenneth Zuckerberg of Canada ran their Family General Identity Clinic for 30 years where he treated and did SCIENTIFIC research. (ousted by the gender radicals though he ultimately prevailed in court) He provided extensive supportive couseling and psychological therapy (taking months or years) before considering the sometimes
irreversible side effects of hormone therapy or radical surgery for minors. Some SCIENTIFIC studies have shown that greater than %50 of these children have significant psychological problems that should be addressed prior to aggressive hormone/surgical therapies. Contrary to the radical approaches of skipping EVALUATION almost universally prior to starting hormones.
An opinion. Maybe the radials rush into Gender Affirming Care does not “save lives” as they insist, rather puts a high risk mental population at greater risk.
Real studies show over half of transitioning youths decide they are not Trans by early adulthood. Conservative therapy would have saved those %50+ percent from the irreversible harm of hormonal and possibly mutilating affirming surgeries. THAT conservative approach was championed by Dr Kenneth Zucker.
