He’s right. I consider myself a conservative but the good of the country comes first and that does not mean Kowtowing to the Dems but use good judgements to reach workable results within Constitutional limitations.

Absolutely couldn’t agree more with his philosophy. The problem with his stance is that the leftists are in lock step and won’t deviate from their party line. So essentially he is capitulating and running up the white flag. Guess a man has to know his limitations.

I commend the Congressman’s stated principles but against a unified and organized democrat party which has gotten more autocratic by the year and more heavily for a centralized socialist government, the balance of power must be restored. He and others with those good intentions and ideals should learn to work with the system but form a unified movement in Congress and the grass roots level to effect much needed changes and to instill ethics and patriotism back into Congress while rooting out and eliminating the “deep state”.
