Tucker Carlson is one of the leading conservative voices in America.
He challenges progressive – and establishment GOP – stupidity and takes a stand even when it’s not popular.
And that’s why viewers love him and leftists hate him with a passion.
He’s intelligent, fearless, hilarious and most importantly … almost always correct.
But a portion of his recent show Tucker Carlson Tonight is causing controversy and even raising eyebrows of some fans.
Has Tucker gone too far this time? I’ll tell you what he said and let you decide.
‘Your Mask is Making Me Uncomfortable’
Tucker started his comments with on point observations about how mask wearers do not have the moral – or scientific – high ground that they think they do. Their masks are purely a symbol of obedience like “Kim Il Sung pins in Pyongyang,” as Tucker noted.
“The next time you see someone in a mask on the sidewalk or the bike path, don’t hesitate. Ask politely but firmly, ‘Would you please take off your mask? Science shows there is no reason to wear it. Your mask is making me uncomfortable,” Tucker said, adding:
“We should do that, and we should keep doing it, until wearing a mask outdoors is roughly as socially accepted as lighting a Marlboro in an elevator. It’s repulsive.”
OK, so far so good…
But then Tucker went what some are calling a step too far when he said the following:
“Our response when you see children wearing masks as they play should be no different than your response to seeing someone beat a child in Walmart: call the police immediately. Contact child protective services. Keep calling until someone arrives. What you’re seeing is abuse. It’s child abuse, and you’re morally obligated to try to prevent it.”
Tucker explained that keeping kids from breathing in enough fresh air can harm them, thus making your kids wear masks is child abuse.
It’s true that children running around playing sports in masks could definitely limit their oxygen supply – and masks have even been discovered that were exposing kids directly to dangerous, carcinogenic asbestos fibers – but to call the police on parents who are making their kids wear masks could be going a step too far.
Tucker Carlson is now telling his audience to harass people who wear face masks outside.

Is Tucker Right About Kids Wearing Masks Being Child Abuse?
Here’s the thing: Tucker Carlson is correct that younger kids are mostly immune from COVID and that making them wear a mask outdoors is odd and potentially cruel. But to say it’s “child abuse” that an overprotective parent makes their kiddo wear a piece of cotton on their face may be going a bit far.
In addition, calling the police or CPS just seems like a bit much. Then again, parents who become very paranoid about COVID and drill fear into their young children’s heads are undoubtedly doing a lot of psychological harm to them and setting them up for a lifetime of medical anxiety and pathology.
Which brings up the overall question of whether Tucker is right?
Of course he was likely just engaging in some intentional exaggeration here to show that he will punch back twice as hard against progressive busybodies who always think they’re the good guys as they make the world a worse place and traumatize a generation of kids.
Tucker used to be very libertarian, but he’s changed a lot since the old days. However, one sign that he’s possibly joking here is his advice to call CPS, since Tucker is well aware of the many documented cases of negligence and abuse that have occurred by that organization itself.
