Earlier this week, former President Trump underwent arraignment amid dozens of felony charges against him. These felonies pertain to the falsifying of business records, something which the former president claims to be innocent of.
Nevertheless, it is the argument of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg that Trump falsified business documents to conceal a hush money payment delivered to hide an alleged affair with Stormy Daniels.
This money was paid to Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election; though Trump denies ever having an affair with the porn star.
Judge Juan Merchan in the New York Supreme Court is presently overseeing the case involving Trump. Merchan also warned the former president against incendiary online posts. Though, as reported by the Daily Wire, Trump opted to send out messages via Truth Social anyway.
The Latest From Trump
On Truth Social, Trump went after Bragg, posting about the district attorney’s use of city funds to pursue the present charges. Likewise, the former president also boasted about being awarded funds in a separate case that pertains to Stormy Daniels.

The former president and his two eldest sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, have also posted about Merchan’s family. These posts namely pertain to the judge’s daughter and her alleged ties to liberal power players.
What Happens Now?
There has been some speculation that Trump’s social media posts could eventually lead to the judge putting a gag order on him. Such an order would bar the former president from openly discussing the case at all.
Violations of a gag order would likewise leave Trump open to potential time behind bars.

Right now, it remains to be seen if Merchan chooses to impose a gag order. Nevertheless, some critics of the former president have weighed in with the notion that it’s a bad idea for Trump to go after the judge overseeing his case.
