Tucker Carlson isn’t in the business of pleasing people.
He calls it like he sees it and that’s why so many Americans love him and watch his show every night.
But recently Tucker made a powerful new enemy: the crowd of armchair generals and media relations folks over at the Pentagon.
The clash came after comments Tucker made on a recent show about how the US military is becoming too woke and worried about gender and diversity while enemies like China beef up their capabilities and focus on becoming as strong and deadly as possible.
You can tell Tucker hit a nerve, because the military brass took the unprecedented step of firing back at a cable news pundit.
Don’t they have more important things to be doing like defending America?
Department of Defense Fires Back at Tucker
Department of Defense spokesman John Kirby fired back at Tucker following his show saying that Tucker is denigrating the “contributions of women in the military and to say the Chinese military is catching up to the U.S. military because it does not allow women to serve in the percentage the United States does.”
In fact, what Tucker said was true.
China is increasing their masculinity and trying to use gender roles to bolster their military strength while the US moves in the opposite direction, focusing on allowing women to keep their hairstyle how they want, have flight suits they can wear while pregnant and wear nail polish.
“Pregnant women are going to fight our wars. It’s a mockery of the U.S. military,” Tucker said.
Is he wrong? Progressives are so easily offended and sensitive that they forget to notice that he’s actually correct and that it’s insane to be so accommodating when your job is to win wars, not win lawsuits or gender diversity competitions.
As Tucker noted on his show:
“The bottom line is, it’s out of control, and the Pentagon’s going along with this.”

‘We Still Have a Lot of Work to do to Make our Military More Inclusive’
Rather than actually listen to what Tucker is saying which relates to military readiness and lethality, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin talked about his hurt feelings saying Tucker’s words made him “revolted.”
Meanwhile, Kirby doubled down on his woke garbage, saying that “we are better and more effective, not only when we represent the American people, all the American people, but also when we have the morals to include other perspectives and ideas.”
Kirby added that women are a core part of the US military and its strength, mischaracterizing Tucker’s entire point, of course, and making it personal and emotional, which is what progressives always do when in a debate.
“I would hope that in the reaction he’s seeing, and hopefully in our reaction here today, that he’ll realize the mistake he made and express some regret about the manner in which he’s demeaned the entire U.S. military and how we defend and how we serve this country,” Kirby said.
Hold on a second…
Tucker was saying that woke sensitivity won’t win wars and that military rules and gear shouldn’t be changed for women. He’s making the obvious point that the current focus of our military should not be on softening up rules and being more “inclusive” it should be on improving and being more ready to face juggernauts like communist China.
Tucker was also saying that the general trend toward masculinity or femininity is an important indicator of how China is gaining military strength and the US is losing it. He wasn’t saying women shouldn’t be in the military or are “weak” or any other mischaracterization that DoD is trying to smear him with.
Tucker’s message was obvious and any men and women who actually have critical thinking skills understood his point: hurt feelings and being offended don’t win wars, and neither does “diversity.”
Then again: don’t expect progressive Biden Administration folks to be smart enough to understand what Tucker’s actually saying.
