Recently, the mainstream media and their political allies were flooded with news about the new COVID omicron variant. This strain of COVID was dangerous, not stopped by the vaccine, and requires us to shut down our lives once again, we were told.
People around the world began to panic; tourism in South Africa, where the variant was discovered, plummeted to a standstill. Now, the death toll is in for the omicron variant.
Omicron Death Toll
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the omicron variant has killed exactly 0 people in the world, as of Dec. 11. The WHO was quick to point out we’re still early in the stages of the new variant, however, and it could kill people soon.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) agrees with the WHO and noted there have been 0 deaths in the US that it’s aware of. All cases so far in Europe have been very unserious or with no symptoms at all.
South Africa has seen an upsurge in people going to the hospital with COVID, but it doesn’t appear most of this is due to omicron.
I’m confused!! If no one’s getting seriously ill or dying with Omicron, how do they do know 3 jabs are stopping people getting seriously ill or dying? It’s a genuine question.

It Gets Weirder…
Omicron was first cataloged as B.1.1.529 and discovered in late November. One of the strangest things about it is it’s mostly impacting those who are fully vaccinated.
Not only are the fully vaccinated getting and spreading COVID, but they are also dying. Now, we find out they’re also spreading and getting infected with this new variant we don’t really know anything about yet.
The scientist who first found omicron said it’s not serious enough to deserve the kind of government reactions that are going on, but other scientists say it could turn out to be more serious than expected.
So, at this point, we just don’t really know for certain. What we do know is our public health officials have done nothing to protect us.
Why are our health officials urging everyone to get vaccinated and stop omicron if vaccinated people have higher rates of omicron? At this point, it may seem useless to use logic and facts when talking about COVID, but it’s a valid question.

The Bottom Line
So far, omicron has killed 0 people. We should be able to celebrate Christmas in peace without Dr. Fauci or the incompetent extremists over at the WHO trying to get in the way.
At the same time, we don’t really know what omicron is, in terms of long-term potential for danger. All we know is available statistics show it is worse for those who are vaccinated.
At this point, it’s worth asking whether we should start restricting the travel and rights of those who have been vaccinated in order to protect their own safety.
