Possible Terror Attack in NYC

Brooklyn is on high alert after an explosion and gun attack on Tuesday morning. The apparent terror attack occurred in the early morning scramble of commuters to work on the subway.

The location of this explosion and gun attack has been named as being in the Sunset Park neighborhood at the 36 Street Station.

Here’s what happened…

Suspect in Gas Mask Opens Fire

According to reports, there are over 13 people injured from this attack. It is unclear at this time if there are fatalities, but it’s apparent the attacker wanted to take out as many people as possible.

According to police, the suspect was wearing the reflective shirt of a construction worker and a gas mask. The attack occurred around 8:30 a.m. The office of NYC Mayor Eric Adams has not offered any statement on the attack, saying more evidence must come out first.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a black man of medium build and a short height of five feet, five inches. They say he took a burning item and dropped it, leading to the explosion, and then opened fire, as well.

There does not appear to be a reason why he shot certain individuals or targeted them.

Graphic Photos Emerge

Graphic photos of blood-soaked victims came out on news networks and social media soon after this attack. Victims were splayed out on the subway platform while paramedics responded and the police searched for further possible bombs and detonation devices.

According to the Fire Department of New York (FDNY), the authorities have already found “multiple” unexploded ordinances and explosive items in their search.

This situation is unfolding rapidly and it’s not entirely clear what is going on. The suspect is still at large and the subway lines were delayed as emergency crews responded.

One thing which is clear is this possible terror and hate crime has not received a huge amount of media attention yet since it broke several hours ago. Some are speculating this is because the suspect is black.

New York has been rocked by a number of violent hate crimes, particularly against Asian individuals, but the attacks began to be downplayed by the liberal media when the suspects ended up being identified in most cases as non-white individuals.

We also saw how the horrific Christmas parade massacre in Waukesha, Wisconsin was quickly buried by the media after the killer turned out to be an anti-white, racist black man.

The Bottom Line

Blue cities like New York are no longer safe places to be.

In addition to a surge in violent crime and unmarked guns passing hands between gangsters and thugs, the city was really hollowed out by the COVID shutdowns.

When you add in the growing racial divisions, you have a recipe for disaster. Eric Adams may be trying his hardest to improve this situation, but this is a very bad day for the city.

We will follow this story as it develops.
