New York Governor Endorses Biden For Reelection

Within less than two years, Joe Biden has done damage to the extent that even his worst critics didn’t anticipate. Foreign policy, the economy, the supply chain, social divisions, lifestyles, and more have all taken hits under this administration.

If Biden’s bad policies weren’t harmful enough, his refusal to acknowledge and address problems is truly a slap in the face.

Biden, despite his interest in Democrats keeping the House and the Senate, has unintentionally given the GOP ammunition to defeat his favored candidates.

Many Democrats can see the writing on the wall, are distancing themselves from Biden, and won’t endorse him for reelection. Though New York Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul is an outlier in this regard, as reported by Breitbart News.

Hochul on Biden and 2024

On Tuesday, the New York governor debated GOP challenger Lee Zeldin. Amid multiple failures with Hochul’s leadership and data showing that folks are fleeing New York, Zeldin’s candidacy offers an alternative that could get the state back on track.

Though during her debate against the New York Republican, Hochul was asked about whether or not she believes Biden should pursue a second term in the 2024 presidential election.

Clearly and emphatically, Hochul stated she does believe Biden should run again. This notable break from members of her own party, including fellow New York Democrats like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, raised some eyebrows.

More on the New York Gubernatorial Debate

Throughout their time on the debate stage, Hochul and Zeldin covered a range of policy issues. One of them pertained to crime, an issue that New York is grappling with.

Zeldin repeatedly called out the New York governor, staying that her pro-crime initiatives (like cashless bail) were enabling criminals.

Even when the New York Republican explained that Hochul’s crime policies are causing loss of life, she still didn’t have anything meaningful to say.

Hochul’s lead over Zeldin is only by a few points in a state that’s known to be one of the bluest in the country. Therefore, there’s a real possibility that Zeldin could defeat the current governor and play a role in New York flipping red.

Thus far, the Empire State has endured years upon years of failed, left-wing leadership. Come next month, the people of New York will be able to decide whether or not they want to make a change or stay stuck with more of the same.

After the New York gubernatorial debate ended, Zeldin panned Hochul over what he deemed as the governor’s lackluster, unacceptable talking points on policy.

What do you think about the New York governor endorsing Joe Biden for reelection? Is Kathy Hochul out of touch with most Americans? In the comments area, you’re more than welcome to share your views about this.
