The US Navy has a heroic history and deserves respect just like every branch of the Armed Forces, but many members of the Navy are now sounding the alarm about woke propaganda infecting upper leadership.
More than 150 Navy officers recently signed a letter, calling for a halt to the Department of Defense’s DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) programs in their ranks.
Why? The propaganda is hurting morale and it’s hurting national security.
The Navy is a Military Branch, Not a Drag Show
In the letter, Flag Officers 4 America said it’s impermissible that its military must worry about ideologically inspired policies, rather than being focused on potential threats from enemies.
The letter was addressed to Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, Ken Calvert, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Defense Appearances, Mike Rogers, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Armed Services, and Hakeem Jeffries, Minority Leader of the House.
Thankfully, most of those individuals are Republican; although Jeffries is not and is sure to scoff at the letter and its contents.
Among the names of officers who signed the letter are James E. Linvingston, John Poindexter, and William Gerald Boykin.
They assert that the DEI’s equity and diversity policy puts national security at imminent risk by leaving the Navy less unified and less focused on preparation for battle. They’re absolutely right, of course.

Reducing Navy Quality
The letter signers claim to achieve levels of equity can reduce the standard of excellence of the corporation.
Therefore, they advocate that the standards previously established for a long time be rescued, so it is then possible to include diversity in a genuine way and enhance the strength of the military.
The high-ranking officers stressed the acceptance rates of the military should never be for reasons of race or skin color, but for a recruit’s character and merit.
Enemies like Iran, Russia, North Korea, and China are not at all concerned about the DEI’s ridiculous ideologies. Enemies obviously find it quite amusing to see that the U.S. despises its forces and focuses on disseminating cultural Marxism to its troops.
The success of national defense relies on morale and unity. The military exists to serve and protect the American nation, not as a vehicle for woke insanity.
The policies of the DEI must be eliminated as soon as possible from the DOD’s rulebook, to protect and save the country.
A woke military is a weak military.

The Bottom Line
Anybody trying to undermine the US Armed Forces with woke propaganda is anti-American and a threat to national security. Period.
