Throughout the midterm election season, there was a lot of talk about the impact Joe Biden was having on candidates. Many Americans theorized that despite Biden being the technical leader of the Democrat Party, his failures were ultimately a drag on Democratic candidates.
Thus far, Republicans have scored some wins in the midterms. However, some results of elections are not yet in and too premature to call.
Biden himself made it very clear that he wanted voters to support Democrats up and down the ballot. Though in many parts of the country, this is not happening.
In spite of this, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants Americans to believe that Biden actually isn’t a drag on his party or the country, as reported by Breitbart News.
Pelosi Runs Cover For Biden
During a PBS News interview, the House Speaker spent her time singing Biden’s praises and taking about how underrated she believes he is.
It is Pelosi’s view that Biden is “great” and his work has led to Americans being in a better position than they were two years prior. Unfortunately for the House Speaker, her views about Biden aren’t supported by empirical data.

Even when pressed on Biden’s low approval ratings, Pelosi simply said this is the result of him not getting the “appreciation” and “respect” that is owed to him. Once again, many Americans who have been hurt across the country by the policies of this administration would beg to differ.
This interview is not the first time Pelosi has given Biden high praise. She’s previously referred to him as “just perfect” and openly gushed over how amazing she believes he is.
Moving on and Moving Forward
Despite what the House Speaker wants Americans to think about Joe Biden, her claims just are not in alignment with reality. Right now, many Americans are ready to move forward and away from policies that Biden and Pelosi want in effect.
As data for the midterms elections continues to come in, Americans will learn whether or not Republicans have won the House of Representatives.

Biden's agenda is stopped. Speaker Nancy Pelosi will no longer be Speaker.

If the House does end up going to the GOP, then this means Pelosi will be out as the House Speaker. For many Americans, this is going to be a relief.
As House Speaker, Pelosi has repeatedly paraded the agenda of Joe Biden, even in spite of how poorly Americans are doing because of this agenda.
With the 2024 presidential election coming up, the need to move forward is going to be more pronounced amongst members of the public who are fed up with Pelosi and Biden.
