The incompetence of President Joe Biden and his Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas has real-world consequences.
Not only has news come through that multiple terrorists were caught at the border: now small towns in the United States are being literally overrun by illegal immigrants.
Let’s put it this way:
If you’re not angry, you’re not paying attention.
Now Mayor Chris Riggs of the small town of Gila Bend, Arizona has declared a state of emergency as migrants swarm his hometown.
After busloads of illegals were dropped off in the town, Riggs was told by the federal government that it’s his problem not theirs.
Thanks, Biden.
Illegal Invasion
After declaring a state of emergency, Riggs is wondering what to do. His small town of Gila Bend has only several thousand residents but the federal government doesn’t care. They directed border patrol to drop off buses full of illegals in his town and ignored his requests for help.
For one thing, Gila Bend doesn’t have the resources to test all these sudden newcomers for COVID. Especially considering that Riggs got almost no notice that his town would be adding a bunch of new people overnight/
“Border Patrol let us know that they were going to be dropping migrants that had been detained for 72 hours in our town, which we really didn’t understand because we have nothing here. We have no charity organizations that can help, no nongovernmental organizations that a lot of the larger cities and towns do have to assist these people,” Riggs explained.
Many towns near the border are dealing with a similar situation, but Gila Bend isn’t just a town, it’s a very tiny town. They don’t even have 2,000 residents or a Greyhound station and they don’t have the resources to care for all the newcomers.
Property crime has already been on the rise and their detachment of a couple cops doesn’t have the resources to properly respond.

A High Price Tag
Then there’s the price tag. To cost the migrants coming in on two buses a week for the year would have cost $600,000. In other words, Gila Bend is expected to spend everything it has to test people being dumped on it by an uncaring federal government in the middle of a goddamn pandemic and economic crisis.
Nearby areas are dealing with similar frustration at the incompetence and disloyalty of the Biden Administration.
“When this administration failed to engage with my governor, my attorney general, our health departments, our emergency services coordinator, along with other border states and beyond, that’s when it started. So, we’re trying to pick up the pieces right now. It’s an unfunded mandate by the federal government to local communities,” said Sherriff Mark Dannels of neighboring Cochise County.
Dannels also sounded the alarm on what’s happening with all these unaccounted for people being dropped inside the United States.
“These people that are being released under catch and release on the MPP program are wards of the federal government. But there’s no funding attached to it, and I’m worried about public safety and the global pandemic,” Dannels said.
Let’s get this straight:
We were all supposed to stay home, stop working and listen to anything that Dr. Fauci said for over a year now, but busloads of illegal immigrants being pushed on small towns that barely have a police department are expected to be gracefully received and somehow housed by a federal government that won’t even pay for it.
It’s absolutely insane that this is our current reality in 2021 and President Biden should be ashamed of himself.
