Karine Jean-Pierre’s Desperate Attempt to Save Biden Goes Viral

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre lost her cool as a reporter grilled Dr. Fauci on the origins of COVID-19. Jean-Pierre confronted multiple reporters, thereby saving Fauci from answering a question about coronavirus origins.

Biden’s Handlers Losing Their Temper Amid Defending Him

On Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci and the White House COVID response coordinator, Dr. Ashish Jha, were answering questions about coronavirus. During the press briefing, the White House correspondent of the Daily Caller, Diana Glebova, asked Fauci about his efforts to investigate COVID origins.

Glebova asked the question in a rush when Fauci just finished answering the last question. However, Karine Jean-Pierre was offended by Glebova’s question as she tried to stop her from asking the question.

Jean-Pierre asserted that press briefings have a proper process, as reporters are only allowed to ask questions on their turn. Likewise, Jean-Pierre stated she would not call out the reporters who would try to yell and be disrespectful.

Apart from that, the press secretary also accused Glebova of becoming rude and disrespectful to Dr. Fauci. Furthermore, Jean-Pierre claimed Glebova was taking too much time since Dr. Fauci was about to leave the press briefing.

While trying to move on to another reporter, Jean-Pierre said she could not engage in a back-and-forth conversation with Glebova.

At this moment, the White House correspondent of Today Africa News, Simon Ateba, intervened and told Jean-Pierre that Glebova asked a reasonable question about the ongoing investigations of COVID origins.

On this, Jean-Pierre argued she has no problem with the question, but she is not comfortable with the way reporters are asking the question.

After the heated argument at the White House, Glebova tweeted that Jean-Pierre never invites her to ask questions at the press briefings just because she wants to ask honest and straightforward questions.

Glebova further asserted the press secretary did not call her for questions and instead labeled her disrespectful.

Fauci Tries to Evade Investigations

Dr. Fauci is resigning from the position of the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease in December, for which he delivered his last presentation to the federal government on Tuesday.

Though even after leaving the Biden administration, Dr. Fauci is likely to make headlines often. He will be the epicenter of Republican congressional investigations regarding the origins of the pandemic.

GOP Senator Rand Paul already insisted Fauci will have to face investigations about COVID origins, as well as America’s funding of a Chinese lab researching the coronavirus before the pandemic outbreak.

Leaked email data already established that Dr. Fauci did fund the research in the Chinese lab for COVID research while working in the Trump administration.

Some political observers even suggest Fauci is only retiring to avoid congressional investigations since Republicans will control the House and its committees from January.
