Kamala Harris’ Pro-Abortion Stand Sparks Debate

On the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Kamala Harris defended her pro-abortion stance by labeling laws that prohibit abortions as “inhumane.”

She has been attempting to enhance her reputation by aligning herself with the pro-abortion movement and speaking out on the subject wherever she goes.

However, her position has been criticized for being extreme, anti-science, and out of touch with the majority of Americans.

The anti-science nature of Kamala Harris’ pro-abortion stance

Vice President Kamala Harris implied that unborn babies are not human during her appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She criticized the state-level pro-life laws that have gone into effect because the U.S. Supreme Court overruled Roe v. Wade.

She claimed pro-life legislation is “inhumane” and “reckless.”

The Hollywood Reporter quoted Harris as saying, “I consider it the pinnacle of irresponsibility.”

“In reality, in many instances, it is inhumane for states across the nation to pass laws that criminalize health care providers, basically give prison sentences for doctors and nurses offering reproductive health services, and punish women for merely seeking the type of care they desire and require.”

Additionally, Harris criticized states that protect unborn children from abortion in cases of rape or incest. She argued it was unjust for the government to restrict women’s autonomy over their bodies, particularly when they have been victimized or violated.

However, her assertions were false. Abortion bans do not persecute expectant women; they penalize abortionists who operate illegal abortions on unborn children.

Currently, 14 states prohibit or severely restrict abortion procedures and others are battling in court to do the same. Researchers estimate that as a result, tens of thousands of unborn children have already been saved from abortion.

Polls indicate the majority of Americans oppose pro-abortion laws

In addition, abortions are not healthcare because they result in the death of patients, who are exceptional and incomparable human babies. Their existence also started at the time of their conception.

According to research conducted by the Guttmacher Institute, the majority of women who terminate a pregnancy do so due to economic hardship or coercion.

These issues cannot be resolved by means of abortion. Rather, infants and their mothers require improved social and financial support.

Polls consistently show that the majority of Americans support strong restrictions on abortion, such as parental approval for minors, prohibitions on state funding for abortions, and prohibitions on terminating unborn babies, particularly within the first trimester or when their heartbeats can be detected.

The Biden administration condemns each and every one of these. LifeNews has featured 25 recent polls demonstrating some support for pro-life legislation.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ pro-abortion stance is extreme and she has been criticized for being anti-science and out of touch with most Americans.
