With the indictment against former President Trump, Republican nominee for president Vivek Ramaswamy has cautioned the states could be on the verge of a “national divorce.”
Politically Motivated Indictment
The charge, according to Ramaswamy, is a sad occasion in American history that will diminish public trust in the legal and electoral processes.
“A terrible chapter in American history has begun with the politically inspired prosecution of the 45th president of the United States. That would erode public confidence in the justice framework and political process,” Ramaswamy said.
Using police force to detain members of the opposition party is un-American. Partisanship cannot override principles. He demanded that we let the people of America choose the leaders.

The candidate urged all prospects — current and potential — from both parties to join him in denouncing the acts of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
He claims we cannot bear to politicize the court system, lest we approach a breaking point at a time when our entire nation is walking on shaky ground.
He asks people all across the United States to speak out against this recklessly politicized indictment in the name of maintaining our country’s unity.
If @JoeBiden wanted to unify our country, he’d get on TV tonight & say that even though Trump is his political opponent, he shouldn’t be indicted in a politically motivated prosecution. It’s the single most valuable thing he could do in his Presidency to deliver national unity.

Ramaswamy also targeted President Biden, saying if he was interested in bringing the country together, he would go on air and denounce the way his rival was treated.
America Headed in a Scary Direction
Ramaswamy said the most vital thing Biden could do as a president is bringing the American people together in an attempt to unify the nation.
Ramaswamy then continued by saying Trump was criminally indicted in a democratic prosecution that is hazardous.
As a nation, America is currently moving slowly. He fears that a national divorce may be on the horizon. Hence, he is vying for president since he cares about the revitalization of the country.
