Cryptocurrency Millionaire Found Dead in Suspicious Case

Cryptocurrency is a way of sending and receiving money that doesn’t use banks and is mainly outside the control of the government.

Though something keeps happening that has crypto enthusiasts very spooked: high-up figures in the crypto world keep ending up dead. The latest is Dr. John Forsyth, the founder of the cryptocurrency OnFo.

Forsyth Found Dead

Forsyth went missing for nine days in the northwest area of Arkansas. He was later found dead around the Beaver Lake area. Forsyth’s body had a gunshot wound, but police say no foul play was involved.

It is somewhat odd that authorities said so quickly nothing was suspicious, especially since Forsyth was previously kidnapped. He also had no signs of depression and texted from his main job as an ER doctor that he was on his way home to his new fiancee on May 21.

After leaving the hospital, he went to a nearby park and was spotted on surveillance as another vehicle pulled up next to him, but that was the last time he was seen.

Past Kidnapping

In February of last year, Forsyth was kidnapped, hogtied, and threatened by unknown individuals.

He was eventually released and only told his brother Richard, declining to file a police report or give details on what happened or what the kidnappers wanted.

Richard says the abduction was related to his cryptocurrency activities but he does not know who the kidnappers were. This current disappearance and death look very suspicious and it doesn’t look like a suicide.

Crypto Deaths

Forsyth’s death is the latest in a long line of very suspicious deaths of crypto founders and millionaires.

Last October, crypto tycoon Nikolai Mushegian drowned in Puerto Rico. This was after warning he would be blackmailed by intelligence operations that were sex trafficking in the Caribbean and his girlfriend was a spy.

Fellow crypto founder Tiantian Kullander was on the cusp of landing a huge investment when he died in his sleep for no apparent reason at 30 years old. Russian crypto founder Vyacheslav Taran had a helicopter “crash” soon after leaving Switzerland.

It looks a lot like crypto founders are being targeted by a group, or various groups, of people.
