House Democrats showed their true colors of kowtowing to Russia’s mass-murdering leader, Vladimir Putin, by writing an open letter serving the Moscow tyrant’s agenda in his atrocious war against Ukraine and the entire free world.
They Wanted to Save Putin and Russia as Ukraine Has Been Winning
House Democrats called for granting Putin a de facto victory in the horrifying war his incompetent military hordes are actually losing, as reported by The Washington Post.
The letter was signed by 30 members of progressive Democrats, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the formal caucus leader, Rep. Pramila Jayapal of California.
Never mind that Putin himself and the entire propagandist cohort of his regime made it clear they aren’t just attacking Ukraine, but also the entire western free world. Russia wouldn’t stop even if it somehow defeated Ukrainians. It would advance further and further west.
For all the communist kowtowing to Putin, the progressives’ letter also demonstrates a total lack of pro-American strategic thought. The Ukraine war is America’s chance to once and for all make sure Moscow will never again be the global aggressor it has been for the past 100 years.
House progressives just withdrew their Ukraine letter:

House Democrats are angry at Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal for sending out a letter calling for the Biden administration to pursue diplomacy in Ukraine, with many publicly and privately fuming that the progressive leader blindsided them https://t.co/KZShz6r2nd

This letter is an olive branch to a war criminal who’s losing his war.
Ukraine is on the march. Congress should be standing firmly behind @JoeBidens effective strategy, including tighter – not weaker! – sanctions. https://t.co/3ymk7gwGM5

‘Forget America and the Free World. Let’s Be Slaves to Putin’s Russia!’
As soon as the scandalous pro-Putin stance of Democrats got exposed, backlash from within the party – not to mention the wider American public – threw the entire Democrat Party in disarray.
The chair of the progressive caucus, Rep. Pramila Jayapal, reacted to the public and intra-party backlash by withdrawing her support for the letter where she was one of the most prominent signatories. She also claimed to be withdrawing the support of the entire caucus.
High-ranking members of the Democrat Party openly blasted the progressive letter seeking to save Putin’s regime, securing Russia’s survival as a world-level bully and constant terrorism-sponsoring aggressor.
Democratic Rep. Jake Auchincloss of Massachusetts reacted on Twitter by saying progressives’ letter is giving an “olive branch” to Putin the “war criminal” when he’s “losing his war.”
He called for even stronger American actions in support of Ukraine, including through harsher economic sanctions against Russia.
In Ukraine, during the full-scale Russian invasion (since February 24 and as of the morning of October 17), 425 children were killed and at least 815 more were injured. However, these data are still not final, said the Office of the Prosecutor General citing juvenile prosecutors.

No Remorse Whatsoever
Democrat Rep. Marc Pocan of Wisconsin revealed on Twitter the shameful document was drafted back in July and he didn’t know why it was made public now.
He then tried to explain himself by stating the letter was supposed to advocate for diplomacy, rather than “criticize Biden” on the US government’s vital support for the Ukrainians.
One of the most ardent signatories of the pro-Putin letter, though, Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, only reacted to strong public backlash by focusing on the “technicality” of when the letter was drafted and released four months later.
She expressed no remorse whatsoever on seemingly supporting a vicious, satanic Russian dictator slaughtering children and civilians for his own pleasure, madly wishing to destroy and enslave the entire West while, luckily, being impotent to do so.
❗️The Polish Senate unanimously recognized the authorities of the Russian Federation as a "terrorist regime".
